Designed for small to large-sized conference rooms, Polycom videoconferencing units are extremely easy to use with a hand held remote control.  The all-in-one system and light-weight design make it a snap to set up and easy to move from room to room.  All you need is Courtroom Connect’s video-optimized Internet line or an ISDN line to connect to another unit. 

We recommend two videoconference units for bar associations, the 7000s or the 7000e.  The main difference between the two is flexibility.  The 7000e comes in a split unit, so that if needed the camera can be placed in a different location than the base unit which sits on top of the cart.  This feature is helpful when videoconferencing large CLE events with speakers.  Also, the 7000s is a set top unit that can sit on top of a TV only; whereas, the 7000e only works with a plasma or LCD monitor. 
 

Polycom also offers premier audio conferencing that integrates into the videoconferencing unit.  The VTX 1000 is a top of the line audio conference unit that sits on top of the table.  Two spider mics can extend outward to capture the audience.  The Vortex unit is a premier audio conferencing solution that works with multiple mics, speakers, VTX 1000, and videoconferencing units.  It is an ideal solution for audio conferencing for large rooms.

Courtroom Connect recommends the following solutions based on room size:

Small to Medium (Less than 20 people)

• 7000s with TV/cart or 7000e with LCD or Plasma cart

• VTX 1000 for audio conferencing if needed

• Optional: second camera, more microphones/speakers, DVD burner

Medium to Large (More than 20 people)

• 7000e unit with LCD or Plasma cart

• Integrate with Vortex audio unit (Vortex recommended with VTX 1000 for an audio system). 
  Will require on-site installation.

• Projector system

• Optional: second camera, more microphones/speakers, DVD burner
